Canadian Standards Association Test Lab

Maritime Geothermal Ltd. owns one of the only test labs in Canada certified by CSA to conduct ISO 13256-1 and 13256-2 performance tests as well as safety compliance standards C22.2 No. 236-05. Built in 1992 to certify our own products, the lab has grown and improved significantly over the years. The lab can now test and certify any residential water to air, water to water and direct exchange geothermal heat pump system. The lab now holds CSA Category Program Certification (CPC) based on ISO/IEC 17025:2005. This was accomplished by implementing a rigorous ISO quality system that guarantees repeatable and reliable test results. This gives us a huge advantage by reducing costs of certification and being able to bring innovative products to market quicker. We test all of our products and send the relative test data to organizations such as NRCAN, Energy Star, and AHRI so consumers can receive government grants associated with their purchase and installation within their region. As part of our ISO17025 commitment, we continuously strive to make improvements to our test lab as well as our ever growing product lines.
