Maritime Geothermal Ltd. is focused on product development. We welcome Dan Rheault as Product Development Engineer. Dan, a mechanical engineer, has a number of projects underway destined to improve the quality and performance of all Nordic® heat pumps.
One key project already completed is the development of a Nordic heat pump with a two speed compressor, an ECM motor and 410A refrigerant.

Maritime Geothermal is pleased to announce the addition of 3 new commercial W series units to the existing line products. The W-800 is a 65 ton , 1,000,000 Btu output unit suitable for large buildings, greenhouses, swimming pools etc.

The units incorporate twin compressors allowing 1/2 and full capacity output with a simple 2 stage thermostatic controller.

Units are currently available in R22 and R407c versions.

The ECM motor is quieter and has programmability for multiple speeds. The two speed compressor allows the heat pump to match heating and cool-ing loads instead of having to choose one or the other. Finally the switch to more ozone friendly 410A will move us toward compliance with R22 phase out. The resultant heat pump will have the highest COP of any Nordic heat pump.
