NORDIC® TF Series - Triple Function

The triple function heat pump is essentially a premium R and W series heat pump in a single unit, utilizing the Copeland Ultratech 2-stage compressor for industry-leading efficiency.

Air heating and cooling are provided via an air duct system controlled from a central thermostat.

When air thermostat is satisfied, unit automatically switches to hot water mode to supply heat to an in-floor heating system, swimming pool, or any other hot water requirement.  The unit can also be set to water priority.

Unique “call waiting” feature: unit runs in air heating mode, stage 1 for maximum efficiency, until a request is received from the water thermostat. Then the unit switches to full capacity to satisfy the air heating demand and switches to water heating as soon as possible. 

Triple Function heat pumps are the solution for a home that requires in-floor heating in part or all of the structure while also requiring ducted heating and cooling throughout the building.

ECM fan motors are standard, for increased efficiency and comfort.
