Liquid-to-water heat pumps are sometimes called geothermal water-to-water heat pumps or ground source heat pumps, but it doesn’t matter what you call them – they do the same thing. Liquid-to-water heat pumps remove heat from the outdoor energy supply source (the ground) via a collector system (a well or ground loop) and move it into your home or commercial building.
In homes, liquid-to-water heat pumps distribute the heat, usually through in-floor radiant heat. In commercial buildings, the heat is usually also distributed through in-floor heat or fan coils. There may also be a secondary use for the hot water such as heating a swimming pool.
We have three types of liquid-to-water heat pumps. Browse through the selection below to choose the heat pump that is right for you:
The W Series Residential is our residential sized liquid-to-water heat pump. It is ideal for homes or light commercial buildings that require hot water for in-floor heat. Learn More »
The EMW Series is your typical liquid-to-water heat pump, but all of the components required for an in-floor system are preselected for you and included in the case. Learn More »
The W Series Commercial is an industrial sized liquid-to-water heat pump designed for large scale heating and cooling. Can also reverse to cool surfaces. Learn More »
