Nordic Water Source Heat Pumps

Water source heat pumps are known by many names in the geothermal industry. You might have heard them referred to as geothermal heat pumps, or ground source heat pumps. No matter what name is used to identify them, the technology is the same as they get their heat from the warm earth beneath our feet.

The heat is extracted from an outdoor energy supply source. This can be an open well or closed loop. Closed loops can have a horizontal or vertical configuration, depending on the space requirements.
