Why Become a Geothermal Heat Pump System Installer?

With increasing emphasis being placed on building green homes, and the ever-increasing rise of fossil fuel costs in North America, deciding to include geothermal heat pumps in your HVAC service arsenal is a smart choice. These versatile and extremely efficient machines will provide your customers with clean, reliable, and economical heating and cooling for decades. While also providing you with solid margins and a steady source of revenue growth. Here are some of the best reasons to add Nordic® heat pumps to your product line up:

Efficient Commercial or Home Heating Systems

Geothermal heat pumps are the most efficient way to heat and cool any building—residential or commercial—on the planet. They’re more efficient and longer lived than air source heat pumps, while saving your customers hundreds of dollars in annual utility costs. The economic benefits, combined with the eco friendly and comfort aspects make geothermal heat pumps a compelling choice for any installation. Whether your customer is looking to lower their utility bills, replace their aging system with more efficient technology, or trying to eliminate fossil fuel use. Geothermal heat pumps fit the bill.

System Versatility

Whether your installation is a new construction, renovation project, small residential or large scale commercial, we have a heat pump to suit your needs. On the residential side, our heat pumps are an ideal substitute for oil furnaces using forced air ductwork. Heat pumps can be installed in place of the furnace and the ductwork only needs to be slightly modified.

If your project is a new construction, give your homeowner the ultimate in comfort by choosing our liquid-to-air & water unit (TF Series). Designed to provide both radiant in-floor heating, forced air heating and cooling and domestic hot water. Priority air or water heating can be selected with the push of a button.

For large-scale commercial projects such as nursing homes, farmers’ markets, or community centers, our commercial water-to-water heat pumps are the top choice of green builders everywhere. Not only can our systems achieve COPs as high as 8.2 with simultaneous heating and cooling system implementation, but they can also help your building owner achieve LEED certification.

These are just a few of the wide variety of products we offer to suit every situation. Browse our residential or commercial products for more information on the unique heat pumps we offer.

High Margins

Geothermal heat pumps require significant site preparation due to the installation of the energy supply source. Unlike an air source heat pump or electric baseboard heat, geothermal heat pumps require digging of trenches or drilling of boreholes to access the free heat beneath our feet. This gives you and the contractor the opportunity to enjoy higher margins than you might with a more “plug and play” technology.

Work with Canada’s Premier Geothermal Heat Pump Manufacturer

Maritime Geothermal Ltd. has been manufacturing geothermal heat pumps for the past 30 years. In that time we’ve gathered the best industry knowledge to create the highest quality heat pumps on the market today. Only the best possible components are selected and every machine is thoroughly run tested before it leaves our plant in New Brunswick, Canada.

We carefully consider our installer’s feedback on our product designs to create the most functional, reliable and easily serviced heat pumps possible. We’re thoroughly convinced that if you try one of our heat pumps, you’ll be impressed by the quality of workmanship and thoughtful design. If that’s not enough, here are our top reasons why you should add Nordic® geothermal heat pumps to your product line:

Canadian Made

Our units are designed and built by Canadians for our harsh climates. Each Nordic® heat pump is inspected carefully during production by our experienced product technicians, and all products are put through rigorous performance testing prior to shipping to ensure proper functionality before it leaves our plant.

Installer Support

Help is just a phone call away. Nordic® dealers receive the best product and installation support in the industry. Our dealers enjoy direct contact with product engineers, installation experts, and electrical engineers with decades of experience working with our products. We have a full staff of product specialists on hand to provide technical support on all heat pump applications.

Product Documentation

Each heat pump is accompanied by an extensive product manual as well as specifications documents. Our team of engineers and product specialists produce these resources in-house, and we will happily send you electronic copies if the original is misplaced.

Certifications

Our heat pumps are certified by the American Heating & Air Conditioning Institute (AHRI), the Technical Inspection Association (TUV) and ENERGY STAR.

Warranty

We pride ourselves in offering ongoing support to our installers after sale, and our warranty is part of that commitment. Our residential heat pumps are backed by a ten-year limited warranty on major refrigerant circuit components and a five-year limited warranty on all other components. Our commercial heat pumps have a 5 Year compressor and 1 Year parts warranty.

Shipping

We’ve been shipping our Nordic® heat pumps throughout North America, Europe and Asia for over 30 years. We keep our popular units in stock and can often ship on the same day. We have a prepaid service that covers freight, customs and brokerage to facilitate hassle free import.
