Residential Geothermal Heat Pump Warranty
Our current geothermal heat pump warranty applies to heat pumps manufactured after February 15th, 2010.
If you have a heat pump that was manufactured before this date, contact us with your heat pump’s serial number to find out the status of your warranty.
Our geothermal residential heat pumps are backed by a ten-year limited warranty on major refrigerant circuit components and a five-year limited warranty on all remaining components.
Accessories such as thermostats, water valves, pump modules, and electric heaters carry a five-year limited warranty when installed with Nordic® heat pumps. Accessories, when purchased separately, will only be covered under warranty for one year from the date of purchase.
We back up our commitment to quality by including a service labor allowance for the first five years on the compressor and major refrigerant circuit parts and two years on all other parts, including thermostats, auxiliary electric heaters, and geothermal pumping modules when installed and purchased with our geothermal heat pumps. The labor allowance is designed to reduce the cost of repairs, however, it may not cover the entire labor fee charged by your authorized dealer or other non-authorized service personnel.
A copy of the installation start-up record must be endorsed by the homeowner and the geothermal installer and forwarded to us within 90 days of installation in order for the warranty to apply.

Air Source Heat Pump Warranty
All Nordic air source heat pumps are backed by a five-year limited warranty on all components, with an additional two years on the compressor, no labor. Accessories such as thermostats and electric heaters carry a five-year limited warranty when installed with Nordic heat pumps. Accessories, when purchased separately, will only be covered under warranty for one year from the date of purchase.
The heat pump must be installed by a licensed refrigeration technician and a copy of the installation start-up record must be endorsed by both the installer and the homeowner and forwarded to us within 90 days of installation in order for the warranty to apply.
